Shelby Township police investigate body found in gravel pit

SHELBY TWP, Mich. (WJBK) - Shelby Township Police are investigating after a body was found in a gravel pit near the city border with Rochester Hills.

WEB UPDATE: Law enforcement have said that the body found is 44-year-old Joshua Clark, who was reported missing on February 2.

According to a police official, Clark's body was found in the gravel pit off Auburn Road, just east of Dequindre, Monday night.

The Rochester Hills man was reported missing after leaving a bar on February 2. 

Police did not say how long they think the body had been in the pit before it was discovered. 

Clark's family set up a GoFundMe when he was reported missing.
