Take a look inside Aretha Franklin's former home

It's not every day that you get to see where a queen lived, but we're taking you on a tour of Aretha's Franklin's former home.

The Queen of Soul once made a house on Hamilton on the 7th hole of the Detroit Golf Club her home. Real estate developer Anthony Kellum recently purchased the estate.

Built in 1927, the home features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a heated three-car garage with 9-foot ceilings. The mansion has been vacant for 10 years and while it needs a lot of repairs, there are still plenty of gems everywhere you look.

Renovations on the Franklin mansion are expected to begin in January 2019.
