University of Michigan student hit by vehicle on Ann Arbor campus

A University of Michigan student is hospitalized after he was hit by a vehicle on campus on Wednesday morning.

According to Ann Arbor police, the 24-year-old student was hit on N. University between S. Thayer and Fletcher just before 11:30 a.m.

Driver hits, kills pedestrian after crash on Woodward in Detroit's Midtown

A person was hit and killed after a crash forced a vehicle into them on Woodward Avenue in Detroit's Midtown.

The student suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital after the crash. The driver, a 72-year-old woman, was also transported to a hospital for neck injuries. 

An investigation is ongoing.

Westbound N. University was closed for several hours after the crash. The road has since reopened.
