Light snow coming to Metro Detroit, with stronger area of low pressure coming Thursday
DETROIT (FOX 2) - Light snow showers are likely on Wednesday with a fast-moving system passing to the south.
A stronger area of low pressure comes late Thursday night into Friday with 1–2 inches of snow. Then a shot of cold air came our way for the weekend.
- Rest of Tuesday Night/Evening: It will be cloudy and cool, with perhaps some flurries close to sunrise. The low will be 31 degrees.
- Wednesday: Expect cloudy skies with some wet snow showers. The high will be 38 degrees.
- Thursday: Clouds will increase throughout the day, with a high of 34 degrees.
- Thursday Night: Light snow is expected, with a low of 28 degrees.
- Friday: There will be periods of light snow, totaling 1–2 inches. The high will be 33 degrees.
- Saturday: The day will be mostly cloudy, brisk, and cold, with a high of 27 degrees.
- Sunday: There will be a mix of sun and clouds, and it will be cold, with a high of 26 degrees.
- Monday: The day will be mostly cloudy and still cool, with a high near 30 degrees.
