The National Weather Service warns of slippery roads on bridges, exit ramps and overpasses. Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling on Friday night. They say the afternoon rain and snow transition could lead to an inch on the ground between the I-96 and I-69 corridors.
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - Drivers in the northern part of Metro Detroit are taking their time on their commute home Friday evening as snow fell coating the roads and leading to slowdowns and crashes after a rainy start to the day.

As of 5:30 p.m., the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reported a few traffic incidents on I-75 and M-15. Those have since been cleared.
Currently, no freeways are fully closed.
