17-year old shot and killed in southwest Detroit

Producer's note: A previous version of this story listed the victim's name as Antonio Raines, which was given by a family member. According to police the victim's name is Antonio Hobson.

Detroit Police are searching for four suspects, after a 17-year old  was gunned down on the city's southwest side.

A family member tried to drive the teen to the hospital, when he was stopped by police for speeding near Wyoming and Tireman. Police called an ambulance but it was too late.

"He got a baby at home. He's a good guy a stand up man. He loved his kids, still going to school. He got a lot of stuff to look forward to," she said.

Sources say Hobson may have been breaking into cars in the area and its one of the many scenarios police are now looking into. Tiffany said she didn't know if that part was true.

"All I know he was shot. My other brother got a phone call to get him and when he came and got him he was already shot," she said. "Evidently we are losing our kids to these streets out here in Detroit and for what reason? For what reason? Why is my brother dead right now?"
