3-alarm fire reported at Victory Hotel in Southfield
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (FOX 2) - Investigators are working to learn what sparked a fire at the Victory Hotel in Southfield.
At least six fire departments responded to the 3-alarm blaze on Telegraph near Nine Mile Monday night. We're told flames at one point were shooting through the roof of the hotel.
No injuries were reported. People staying at the hotel were taken to McVees restaurant and bar next door to stay warm.
The fire was called in at 10:45 p.m. where one of the people staying there saw flames coming from the roof.
So far no word on the extent of the damage to the building.
