Multiple people were shot and one was killed Thursday night in a drive-by shooting in Detroit. Police are still seeking the suspect and say they're looking for a dark-colored Oldsmobile Alero.

A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in the drive-by, and three other men and one woman were wounded. We're told the suspect's vehicle circled the block a few times before the shooting, which happened at 8:35 p.m. in the 11000 block of Nashville near Gunston on the city's east side.

The victims were outside a home at the time of the shooting. As of Friday morning, we're told one of the victims is in critical condition and the others are in stable condition.

"I just want to ask why," said Lynetta Tippins, a relative of one of the victims. "Why, did you try to take my cousin? My God."

"I just got a call to get here," said another victim's relative, Consuela Alford. "That he could possible be dead. This is senseless. When are we going to stop all of this."

Police believe there was more than one shooter inside the Alero.

Police haven't given a reason for the shooting at this time, but do believe the victims were targeted. Names of the victims have not yet been released.

DPD is looking for anyone who might have information on the shooting to contact the Ninth Precinct at (313) 596-5900 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

Editor's Note: This story has been updated to show that one person was killed, and four people, not five, were injured in the shooting.
