Nissan focuses on autonomous cars, trucks at NAIAS
The future is here. Autonomous cars are coming, whether you're on board with the idea or not.
Your car will soon no longer be a vehicle to get you from home to work and everywhere in between. Nissan is taking aim at that market with a new concept.
Nissan unveiled the concept that has a sleek design but it's the dashboard that draws your eyes. It starts as a steering wheel that folds up. Then it transforms and reveals a tablet that you can interact with. But that's not all.
Another screen pops up that lets you watch TV, listen to music, or even take a nap on your way to work.
Nissan said they tested it last week in Silicon Valley and were pleased with the results. It's only a matter of time before they're on the road.
Nissan is also focusing on the truck market. In 2015, they sold 1.8 million of them and plan to sell even more.
They showed off the Titan Warrior concept that they say will take them to the next level and get them an even bigger part of the market.
