SportsWorks: Ryan Ermanni, Bob Wojnowski & Jamie Samuelsen
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Ryan Ermanni was joined by Bob Wojnowski & Jamie Samuelsen Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they talked about the Lions loss to the 49ers and if they have quit on Matt Patricia. Jamie talked about how they had to come back again because they took the first three quarters off and how it's "fools gold." The panel talked how all their issues are the same they've had for years.
Michigan's win over SMU was next on the docket. Wojo said you won't know much about their offense for a while, but they are gaining more confidence and growing. Jamie talks how they aren't dismantling inferior opponents like they did years ago. Everyone pointed out how critical the offensive line is. The crew also talked about Michigan State coming off the bye week and how poor the Big Ten is this season.
Next up was the Tigers and Michael Fulmer's struggles. The guys talked how you would likely get pennies on the dollar now for him after not trading him last year. They gave their thoughts on the re-build and where it is currently.
The boys moved on to the Red Wings and Henrik Zetterberg retiring. The crew talked about what he meant to the organization and who will be captain now. Jamie says he believes Zetterberg was slightly unappreciated. They also gave their thoughts on Steve Yzerman and if he will be the next general manager of the Red Wings.
Lions Game Night then came on as they discussed where this team is after their loss to the 49ers as they get ready to host the New England Patriots Sunday.
