Man shot and killed in Dearborn, suspect arrested in Adrian

(WJBK) - Friday Night police were called to the area of Whittington and Canterbury where they found a 37 year-old Dearborn resident in the street who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. 

Medics responded and immediately provided care, however the victim died from his injuries. 

Dearborn Police Officers with the help of Lenawee County Sheriff's office arrested the suspect, a 38 year-old Westland resident in Adrian MI.

Based upon preliminary interviews it appears that the parties involved are acquaintances.

This is still an active investigation.
